Join us for this Ramp Talks event, with Inuk artist Mark Igloliorte (Canada).

Mark is currently resident at Ramp Gallery working on new paintings and will present a multi-disciplinary exhibition of his work on Wed 26 June (6-8pm). This Ramp Talks event is a chance to hear directly from Mark in relation to his practice (as an artist and academic) and to have a conversation with him around contemporary indigenous practice. Bring your thoughts and ideas as Mark is happy to have a discussion!

Date: Mon 24 June
Time: 1:00 - 2:00pm
Where: RG.06 (R Block studios, behind Ramp Gallery)

Mark Igloliorte’s works traverse the line between traditional ideas and the contemporary world – often looking at language, imagery and materials that have become part of the vernacular but that speak to traditional customs in a unique and contemporary way.

Come and join this FREE #RampTalks event which is open to all Wintec students, alumni and our creative community. Ramp Talks is a place to explore creative practice and continual learning.

R Block studios can be accessed by students with a swipe card. If you are visiting and do not have building access, please meet at R Block entrance just down from Ramp Gallery just prior to 1pm. Otherwise message the gallery info@rampgallery.co.nz
