A much-loved Ramp Festival tradition, the grad panel brings together creatives who found their feet at Wintec and who have gone on to do great things in their respective industries. This is a must for all Wintec students and staff, no matter what creative area you’re studying in, but attendees of all ages and professions can learn something from our grads!

This year we have Māori graphic designer Aroha Tamihana (Ngati Raukawa, Ngāti Ranginui) of Maimoa Creative, Tauranga. and who is passionate about creating designs and resources that celebrate the Māori language and culture. Aroha studied a bachelor in visual arts in

Ash Muir studied photography and now has two businesses in documentary weddings and fashion photography, working with locally designed and produced fashion.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Communications, Makayla Wallace-Tidd is now the Communications Coordinator for MOTAT and a freelance writer. Her current role at MOTAT came long after becoming impacted by Covid-19 redundancies. Her role covers internal and external communications, social media management, digital marketing, storytelling, and media and influencer relations.
