Dianne Jeffries installation Home Improvements, is the culmination of Artist in Residence facilitated by Wintec in association with Artspost Gallery in Hamilton.

Jeffries works capitalise on her observation of societies increasing appetite for home decorating and the cult of 'lifestyle' design. The cyclical nature of this part of the fashion industry sees it spitting out old stylisms and fast as it consumes new ones. Jeffries work gathers together the detritus and remnants of fads gone by, and playfully reconfigures old forms into tactile modernist designs.
